Itchy groin.
Apr 27, 2001

I wonder if you could advise, i have a very itchy groin which has been persistent for about 3 or 4 years, very itchy armpits intermitently for the last 8 or 9 years. I sometimes experience vomiting and somitimes diarroea, it seems like these are all symptoms of aids. I am consumed with stress and anxiety.

Response from Mr. Kull

Have you ever seen a doctor about your itchy groin? You may have what is commonly known as "jock itch," which can be treated with medication. Otherwise, without a risk history and an HIV antibody test, it is very difficult to determine what your HIV status is, and fruitless to guess whether or not these symptoms are related to HIV infection.
