Can i catch HIV or hepatitis from dried blood on toilet paper. Dec 29, 2009 Hi I was at a friends house when i went to use the toilet for no 2. i usually experience bleeding from anal fissures when i go no 2 and it was the case also this time. half way through wiping i noticed that there was somone elses dried blood stain on the side of the toilet paper so this could of come into contact with the blleding fissures on my anus. Am i at any risk of HIV or hepatitis infection. Thanks. |

 Hello, Can you catch HIV or hepatitis from dried blood on toilet paper? The short answer is no. The longer answer is nope! By the way, why don't you have your anal fissures treated? Depending on the severity, a dermatologist, general surgeon or colorectal surgeon should be able to clear that problem up for you. Dr. Bob | ||||||||
