| What Happens??? Oct 21, 2009 Hi Doc, First of all your forum provides great interaction, knowledgeable and compassionate info For those who seek your help. You're a great person and should be proud of all of your accomplishments to combat this dreaded virus. My question is...what happens to the Worried Wells that post to your forum? Does anyone ever come back and report an ultimate + result after repeatedly testing neg after window period or have another diagnosis if symptoms are present? It seems many of the symptoms: coated tongue, weight loss, night sweats, whatever seem to be similar in nature but everyone here keeps writing in w/fear of having hiv but never seems to be any resolution except you referring them to counseling/psychiatrist if their risk and neg tests are conclusive. Do you ever get feedback, good or bad?? Thanks and take care. |

Response from Dr. Frascino
Hi, Sure, I get plenty of feedback and there are loads and loads of testimonials buried in the archives of worried wells joining the x-files (ex-worried wells) when they eventually accept their HIV-negative status. For folks who test HIV positive, you'll find their stories in the other expert forums. (There isn't much need for an HIV prevention and safe sex forum once you've tested HIV positive.) Check out all the archives! Thanks for your kind comments! Dr. Bob | ||||||||||
