might have done something really stupid, answer ASAP!

So after an oral sex encounter, I tested negative for HIV three months after (I also did a DNA by PCR test too just in case). Its been five months after the encounter and I'd almost forgotten about it.
The other day I was with my friend and she convinced me to give blood . . .and I did. Do they test the blood well? All I can think about is, "what if I am infected and don't know it." I called a number to have my blood removed, but I'm scared I waited too late (its been two days since I donated). I'm freaking out because I could possibly have someone else's blood on my hands. I'm freaking out here. Please help!

Yes, blood donation centers screen donated blood very thoroughly. I do not believe you put anyone at risk. It is important to answer all the screening questions truthfully before donating.
