The most common and widely available once-per-day regimen is Atripla, a convenient once-per-day tablet that contains three antiretroviral medications (efavirenz, emtricitabine and tenofovir). There are also other once daily options, but these involve taking more than one tablet. Talk to your HIV specialist about your various options. Finally, yes, additional once daily treatment regimens are indeed "on the horizon."
Good luck. Be well.
