Sex with two HIV poz men

May 8, 2009

I am negative. 2 days ago I let a hiv person blow me (guy #1). I also blew him a little. another man walked in (uncut)(guy #2) and I blew him until he got hard then he performed unprotected sex on guy #1. After he pulled out, guy #1 sucked on him, then I sucked on guy #2 as I felt it was clean looking and had no smell. Tonight I have a high fever and my whole body aches. Could I have got something from this brief encounter? could this be swine flu? or is this an STD?

Response from Dr. Frascino

Guy #1 blows guy #2 who returns the favor and then guy #2 blows uncut guy #3 who then barebacks guy #1 who then blows guy #3 prior to guy #2 blowing him as well . . . . YIKES! Sounds like stage directions for a bad gay porno flick: "Gay Guys Gone Wild."

Your HIV risk is oral sex with 2 HIV-positive guys (bachelor #1 and bachelor #2). Oral sex carries a very low (but not completely nonexistent) risk for HIV transmission/acquisition.

Symptoms related to acute retroviral syndrome (ARS) following primary HIV infection take several weeks (not two days) to manifest themselves. Consequently I do not believe your current symptoms are HIV related. Could it be swine flu? I suppose it's possible. Were your sexmates named Porky and Piglet? Most likely you just contracted a routine flu-like illness, not H1N1/swine flu. If symptoms persist or worsen, contact your doctor for an evaluation. You'll also need routine STD screening as well as an HIV-antibody test at the three-month mark.

Good luck.
