HIV, Orally? Im so scared
Apr 10, 2009
Hello, I just returned from the Dominican Republic. One night down there a buddy and I each got a prostitute. Im aware how dumb this is. She was gorgeous, my judgment was off. Anyway, She kissed me a little bit, no tongue. We had protected intercourse, vaginally, briefly. She did perform oral sex on me though, both protected and unprotected. And while she did I did finger her a little bit. No analingus, but she did put her fingers there, which I quickly stopped.
So basically, little kissing, protected intercourse, some un protected oral. I am freaking out, cant sleep. Cant eat. If I could get tested today I would, Cant imagine how I will make it three months to know.
Please respond, Ill be making a donation shortly

Take a read through the archives of this forum. I've answered at least a gazillion posts nearly exactly like yours.
Your HIV-acquisition risk is very low. Kissing is not a risk. Protected sex is not a risk, assuming the latex condom was used properly and did not fail (break). Unprotected oral carries only a very, very low risk.
I would suggest you consider spending the three-month window period reading through the wealth of information on this site. You will find it both enlightening and reassuring. You could also volunteer some of your time at an AIDS service organization or AIDS hospice. Helping others in desperate need is an excellent way to keep our own problems in proper perspective.
Thank you for your donation to the Robert James Frascino AIDS Foundation (www.concertedeffort.org). It's warmly appreciated. In return I'm sending you my good-luck karma that your definitive three-month HIV test will be negative. I strongly suspect it will indeed be negative. The odds are all on your side. OK?
