If your husband cannot accept overwhelming and irrefutable evidence that he does not have HIV and/or syphilis, he has a psychiatric problem. His fears are irrational and totally unwarranted. If he has been thoroughly evaluated by a physician and a physical cause cannot be found for his total body pain, a psychosomatic cause should be considered. Psychosomatic illness causes very real symptoms. I would strongly suggest your husband be evaluated by a psychiatrist. It seems clear his problem is not infectious, but rather psychological.
Good luck to you both.
