| Foreign Condom Danger? Jan 19, 2009 I suffer from premature ejaculation and so I recently tried using a Durex Performax condom, which contains special lubricant inside to help desensitize the penis. After using the condom, I noticed it was made in Thailand, which is a country I know has had more than its share of HIV. I know I am probably just being paranoid, but these condoms work great and I need to know if HIV has ever been spread by using condoms manufactured outside the United States? Also is there anyway the virus could be in the lubricant? Thanks! |

Response from Dr. Frascino
Hi, Your worries are completely unwarranted. Durex Performax condoms are both safe and effective. There is absolutely no HIV risk from using these condoms. Similarly, there is absolutely no way HIV would or could be in the lubricant. Stop worrying. Dr. Bob | |||||||||
