I was having a worried well reaction--condom had broken, but I went on PEP, and tested negative at 3 months. After that, around the 5 month mark, I had 2 months of sore throat, low white blood cell count, and rash--which led my work doctor, who did not even know about the exposure, to recommend an HIV test (he also saw I'd once had gonorhea in my health file, and was concerned by white blood cells). Anyway, I was really freaked out, and your responses were very helpful in calming me till the 6 month test--which was negative...
