hi dr. bob. well i took the elisa hiv test. it was negative. this was at the 15 month mark. i still know im pos, i think i need a hiv rna to make it conclusive for me. merry christmas. from connecticut

Negative again and this time at 15 months? Yawn. The only one who is surprised by this result is you! Despite this definitive and conclusive test and the overwhelming evidence you are HIV negative, you continue to "know that you are positive!" That, as Mr. Spock would say, is illogical! Additional HIV tests are not warranted. What you need is psychological counseling to help you confront your irrational fears of being HIV positive and to help you accept the truly wonderful news that you are unquestionably and irrefutably HIV negative. HIV is not your problem. No way. No how. Exactly how you choose to live with that reality is now up to you.
