| We are Confused...Labs Results Non Reactive but they also mention they found "something" i might do a test later Nov 14, 2008 My boyfriend got a hiv 1/2 test and the result is NON REACTIVE but they add a note saying they found "something" that not necessary it's related with hiv + and he might do a test later on ... My question is the Non Reactive in this case means Negative and that he is OK...We are freaked out. The Labs will say Non Reactive if they found anything wrong??? |

Response from Dr. Frascino
Hi, "Non-reactive" does indeed mean HIV negative. I have absolutely no idea what the note stating them "found something" could possibly be referring to. You'll need to check with the lab or have your doctor check with the lab for clarification. Good luck. Dr. Bob | |||||||||
