 Hi, Am I an elite controller? Nope. Am I a long-term non-progressor? Nope. Am I delta 32 homozygous? Nope. I'm merely a virally enhanced guy who has cohabitated with the virus since January 1991 by staying informed, working closely with HIV specialists, swallowing fistfuls of antiretrovirals, maintaining a positive attitude about being positive and being fortunate enough to have health insurance. (And being an HIV specialist physician as well as having an HIV specialist physician as a partner (and now fiancé) for 15 years probably has something to do with it as well.)
