HIV surving outside the body Sep 22, 2008 Hi, There has been lots of discussion and literature on how long HIV can survive outside the human body. Most of this has related either to 'dried' body fluid, or in needles. Is there any data/research to identify how long HIV could last in a tied up, used condom? If so, how long? |

 Hi, No, there isn't any data or research on how long HIV survives in a tied-up used condom. Somehow that topic just didn't reach top-of-the-agenda status in HIV research institutions developing protocols. Dr. Bob | ||||||||
