|I know toilet seats are okay, but...
Aug 21, 2008
Very brief, probably paranoid, but nagging me:
I was wearing flip flops, used a public washroom. I always do a check before I sit down -- I won't sit on wet toilet seats, not just because of germs but because it's an unpleasant sensation. Anyway, this time there was what was obviously a pubic hair on the seat. I used some toilet paper to nudge it into the bowl and instead it fell on my bare foot. Which had an open sore on it, of course.
I dipped my flip flops in the lake the next day but couldn't wash my feet that night and they rubbed all over the blanket and air mattress (which can't be washed) and etc. -- any possibility of me contracting HIV from that hair on my toe? I'm assuming there wouldn't be enough fluid on one hair to infect me but I'm not sure.
Does this fall under "casual contact"?

You're worried about contracting HIV from nudging a pubic hair on a public toilet seat onto your flip-flopped foot??? Oh my . . . .
". . . Probably paranoid"???? No dude, there is absolutely no "probably" about it.
Does this fall under "casual contact"??? No, it falls under the categories of "no contact" and "most whacko question I've received all week".
