Response from Dr. Frascino
Hello, Assuming the latex condoms were used properly and did not break, your HIV-acquisition risk would be essentially nonexistent. Merely handling your trouser snake would not be considered an HIV-transmission risk, even if she had vaginal fluids on her hands. I see no cause for concern or HIV testing. However, if you remain fearful, get a single rapid HIV test at the three-month mark to permanently quell your unwarranted worries. The result will undoubtedly be negative. Thanks for your donation to the Robert James Frascino AIDS Foundation (www.concertedeffort.org). Be well. Stay well. Safe travels back to India. Dr. Bob | |||||||||
