Response from Dr. Frascino
Hi, There are a wide range of effective anti-anxiety medications and antidepressants available. None are specific for psychological problems resulting from an HIV diagnosis. The choice of any medication would depend on many factors severity of symptoms, possible drug interactions, side effect profile, allergies, etc. Your HIV specialist would be your best resource if you are having difficulty coping with being "virally enhanced." VIVA ITALIA!!! Si! Dr. Bob | |||||||||
