| may i wahooooo? Dec 12, 2007 i had an unprotected exposure 3 months ago. my poz partner "finished" inside me. a few weeks later i has tender nodes, body changes (lost lots of weight) high fevers and rash all over my torso. exactly 3 months after the exposure, i got tested and it just came back negative. im so relieved. it's been exactly 3 months to the day. my symptoms persist. but the test says negative at the 3 month mark. can i wahoo?? i know for sure he has no other stds, no hep, no cmv, nothing else. just hiv poz. please advise? |

Hi, Because you had a significant HIV exposure anal receptive sex with a partner confirmed to be HIV positive, the CDC would recommend one additional follow-up test at the six-month mark. I agree.
