| blood in needle viable? Nov 15, 2007 Dr Bob, If a syringe and needle were used to give a shot, then 5 or 6 months later, the same needle and syringe were used to now take blood from a vein, is there a chance of infecting a person with HIV? could a small amount of blood in a needle stay viable at room temperature for this long? thanks |
