symptoms = disease
Sep 2, 2007

I doubted ppl have symptoms are free of diseases, then how come when you have sex with your partner s/he start to have symptoms? Tell me dr. Bob

Response from Dr. Frascino

Hello,

I agree: "symptoms = disease." However, "symptoms with a negative HIV test outside the window period definitely do not equal HIV disease!!!" A negative HIV test trumps symptoms each and every time! "Symptoms" can be related to many different diseases. Unfortunately, due to irrational fears, many people assume "it must be HIV!" This is obviously incorrect. And continuing to chase after an illness someone does not have is both frustrating and unhelpful! In other words, facts are facts, whether or not you choose to believe them!
