| Too Early for WOO-HOO? Jul 20, 2007 Hi Doc! About 5 wks ago, I had a very brief insertive anal experience, less than 5 mins. Bareback, with status unknown partner. No orgasm, and no sign of blood or feces at time of cleanup. Needless to say, I got scared. Today, I received my test results. They were negative, thank God. Is it too early to uncork the champagne and celebrate? Some good karma would be awesome. Thanks for all that you do. |

Response from Dr. Frascino
Hi, "Too Early for WOO-HOO?" Yep! You'll need to keep the champagne on ice for another eight weeks. HIV-antibody tests taken prior to the three-month mark are not considered to be definitive or conclusive. Along with my good karma, I'm also sending some common sense so that you'll never ever put yourself in this anxiety-provoking position again. Cover your rocket or keep it in your pocket! Good luck.
