| nPEP advice Jul 3, 2007 Dear Dr. Frascino, I had a recent encounter (~36 hours ago) that I am a little concerned about. I thought I'd write to find out whether PEP is warranted, since I like your advice to others. Of course, I will try calling a clinician as well. We met at a bar and I invited him back to my place. After a good 10 minutes of frottage (I was on the bottom and there was definitely pre-come.,) he climaxed. He helped me out afterwards with a little digital stimulation. I know everything we did was low-risk, but I'm afraid he might have had some of his ejaculate or pre-come on his hands when he fingered me. I was upfront with him about my worry and he said he tested negative less than a year ago and would get tested again soon. I haven't seen any opinions on whether PEP is warranted in this case. I was hoping you had a recommendtation. Thanks for your help. |
