is it possible to have anal sex with an infected person (all he did was put it in and pull it right back out) and not get infected?
| Response from Dr. Frascino
Yes, very definitely, it is.
The estimated per-act risk for acquiring HIV from unprotected receptive anal sex with a partner confirmed to be HIV positive is 50 per 10,000 exposures. And that includes the whole "Wham-Bam-Thank-You-Ma'am," not just a single in-and-out!
That said, however, I still recommend routine HIV screening.
