Please help me....I'm worried sick!! Part 3

Jun 12, 2007

Update: Doc,I just got my results from the neurologist and all my test came back normal. He said that some other test are still pending but I shouldn't worry. I can't tell you enough how much the mind can control your body and make you feel like everything is wrong. I think that sometimes the information on the internet can be misleading and cause many like myself to worry about things that is out of our control. For those worried about HIV infection from insertive oral sex...stop diagnosing yourself...take a test and wait for your results. Searching online for information about HIV infection will only cause you and your body to freak out and stress bigtime.

The best thing for us all to do is make better decisions about our sex partners or protect yourself at all cost. If you doubt it don't do it because you only cause yourself pain. I really admire your work and I wish I could help others that worry about HIV infection. I know I already made a donation but I'd like to make another when I get my next check. Normally I make a nice contribution over 500.00 but I guess it's not the amt your give it's the giving that counts the most because each dollar helps someone in need. I'd love to have coffee with you or take you to lunch but I'm sure you a very busy man...Thanks for your help!!

Response from Dr. Frascino

Congratulations and WOO-HOO! Excellent (although as far as I'm concerned, not unexpected) news! Thanks for taking the time to write in and share your story and insight. I couldn't agree more.

Thanks also for your generous donation ( Your one gift will touch many lives in desperate need. You've now experienced the great relief and joy that comes with knowing you are HIV negative. You also have a better understanding of just how devastating the news could be to someone who instead hears the words "you have AIDS." Gifts like yours help turn hopelessness into hope for people worldwide coping with the challenges of HIV/AIDS. On their behalf, please accept my heartfelt thanks.

Be well. Stay well. I'm sure you will.
