 Hi Ron, Here's the scoop! On Dec. 1, 2006, Dubya promised to issue an executive order easing the longstanding ban on HIV-infected foreigners wishing to visit the United States, but that order has yet to be issued! A government spokesperson has said the order is still "underway" and that the process is "complex," but would not give further details. (Maybe Bush forgot how to sign his name?) Meanwhile I along with all HIV advocates continue to call and advocate for an end to this discriminating unscientific and inappropriate policy! Stay tuned. We'll keep you posted. Don't hold your breath if you're counting on Dubya doing the right thing. Dr. Bob | ||||||||
