| What? Tell me this hotline "nut" is wrong, real wrong! Apr 14, 2007 Hello Doctor, I rimmed a hot guy last night. I did it for awhile. Didn't notice blood or anything like that. I got nervous and called a hot line and the woman told me that my risk for HIV was moderate to high -because of anal fluids having high volumes of the virus and that it is close to blood vessels. Is this woman nuts? The guy I rimmed was positive so I picked rimming as it seems to be a somewhat low risk. What do you think, Charlie the rimmer |

Response from Dr. Frascino
Hello Charlie the Rimmer, Which AIDS hotline did you call? Fox News? The Vatican? Here's what we know. There have been no documented cases of HIV transmission from rimming or getting rimmed. However, there are a variety of STDs that can be fairly easily transmitted via rimming, including hepatitis A, intestinal parasites and herpes. Dr. Bob | |||||||||
