false negatives Apr 14, 2007 hi doc do you think that if i had a test at 1,4,8,12,17.5 weeks that i am woohooable...or all ofthese tests are false negatives i have been a dedicated veiwer since my exposure on dec 8th and had all kinds of symptoms, my last two tests were 12 week rapid and a 17.5 week home access what do you think dr bob a wooohhhooowhoowhhoo |

 Hello, If indeed you are a "dedicated veiwer" (or viewer) of this forum, you probably already know what I think! Briefly, HIV-antibody tests taken prior to the three-month mark are not conclusive or definitive. However, your negative tests beyond that time (12 and 17.5 weeks) are indeed WOO-HOOable.
