bar soap as lube. risk?
Jan 27, 2007
Hello Dr. Bob, about 2 months ago i had an encounter with another guy, which involved some love making in the shower. It mostly involved massaging, kissing, and rimming/fingering. My penis was hard and covered with soap, and in the heat of the moment I slipped it into his butt, which instantly caused me to want to ejaculate after about 4 thrusts, and I pulled out right away and did not cum inside of him. Neither of us are aware of our HIV status, but he said he wasn't worried because if there was HIV present in me, I was inside of him for about 10 seconds and the soap all over my penis would have killed anything. What do you think about this?
Response from Dr. Frascino
What do I think about this? Hmmm . . . I think it's shocking in this day and age that neither of you is aware of your HIV status, that both of you are willing to have unprotected anal sex and that Mr. Bubbles your shower boy-toy thinks soap is all it takes to protect oneself from HIV. That's what I think!
