| A little bit confused about symptoms Jan 2, 2007 hi doc. Frascino. Little confused about symptoms tested neg. after being stabbed with a needle and also did had done an hiv pcr rna expended the results were less than 50 and less than 1.70 log with a neg. elisa and western blot. however since being stabbed i have low white blood count and enlarged papillae for almost 3 years its been like this and i do not know what to do need your opinion doc. i hope you answers it .... Hello, Why be confused when there is absolutely no cause for confusion in this situation. You are HIV negative. HIV is not your problem. No way. No how. So whatever is causing your symptoms, one thing that's for certain: it's not HIV! See, no confusion! Happy Holidays. Dr. Bob | |||||||||
