| OH NO! I forgot! Nov 30, 2006 Dear doctor bob. WOOOHOOO.. sorta. I tested negative at 3 months after a false positive oraquick at one month. My last three month test checked for hiv 1 and 2. BUT!!!!!! I rememberd an encounter with a girl from botswana 7 years ago. We had unprotected sex, and I tested back then.. negative. My question, do you think there is any chance that I may have cought one of the "rare" subtypes that would not show on a test. Could that be what cuased the first oraquick to react. Hope you have a great holiday season. I am donating my time at the local clinic for a food drive as I do not have the funds to donate. Best wishes. |

Response from Dr. Frascino
Hello, No, I do not believe your Botswana babe from seven years ago is responsible for your false-positive OraQuick! Frevinsakes! Will you stop worrying and start WOO-HOOing?!? HIV is not your problem. No way. No how. Dr. Bob | |||||||||
