Response from Dr. Frascino
Hello, We use "universal precautions" to protect ourselves form bloodborne diseases, such as HIV and hepatitis. These precautions protect in both directions infected patient to health care worker and vice versa. You can read about universal precautions on many Web sites, including the World Health Organization's site: http://www.who.int./hiv/topics/precautions/universal/en/ Dr. Bob | |||||||||
