A Letter of Resignation for the President of The Worried Wells(Please Read)

Dear Dr Bob
First,I would like to commend you for your tireless efforts in the prevention of HIV.
Dr Steve is a lucky man to have you as a partner.Up until 7pm yesterday I was the President of The Worried Wells. I had a signifigant exposure to HIV 13 weeks ago. Not one of the typical exposures
like most write on this forum. I didnt touch a doorknob or
eat cornflakes with a spoon of a HIV+ person. I had unprotected receptive anal sex. I then"developed" all of the classic signs of ARS. I spent 91 days,which can be broken down to 2184 hours,131040 minutes)
searching the internet,calling every
AIDS hotline and convincing myself I was HIV+. I withdrew from every social situation,including my college courses.
Well im relieved to say I am negative.I write this letter to all of those folks who read this forum who are in my situation. SYMPTOMS DO
NOT EQUAL DISEASE. Get tested and be safe in the meantime. I have been in this situation before but I was so relieved to be negative the last time that I didnt listen to the counselor tell me to figure out what is causing me to engage in these behaviors in the first place. I hope my situation can help the countless others who are in my shoes. Instead of feeling sorry for myself today,I can focus on feeling sorry for all of those poor Republicans who are out of a job today.
