Penetration with flavored condom

Aug 20, 2006

Dear Bob, I asked a question just a day ago but now I have realised I got more risk than I thought. The problem is that I thought I had safe sex with a transexual prostitute because we used condom and it didn't break, but now I have read flavored condoms are not safe and I penetrate her with this type of condom. Do I need I serology? Please, I am very anxious and nervous, please!!!!!!

Response from Dr. Frascino

Some flavored condoms are novelty condoms designed only for use in oral sex. The condom label should contain an advisory statement about this. I have no way of knowing exactly what type of condom you used. Chances are that if it didn't break, you were "protected." However, if you are concerned, get an HIV test at the three-month mark to be certain. Please note I see no reason to be "very anxious and nervous."

Good luck.

Dr. Bob

Is it possible???
