Testing Aug 19, 2006 If my girlfriend is diagnosed with Chlaymadia do i have to get tested before i can receive the doxycycline b/c i have been tested an to say the least its AWFUL!!! thanks for the help |

 Hello, I assume you are referring to the ever popular ram-a-Q-tip up the one-eyed monster test, right? Fear not, my friend, there are now other ways to diagnose STDs. And besides, if your girlfriend already tested positive for Chlamydia, we would treat you empirically (without testing) with doxycycline. Good luck. Dr. Bob | ||||||||
