Hi Fed-Up Republican,
Welcome back to the forum.
What do you think of Dubya's latest blunders? First he totally creeps out the German Chancellor Angela Merkel with a bizarre shoulder rub from behind, causing her to cringe and shrug him off with a look of revulsion. And then he comes home to exercise the first veto of his six-year presidency to crush the hopes of millions of Americans with illnesses ranging form cancer to Parkinson's to HIV/AIDS. Fed up indeed!
To answer your specific question, which, by the way, is already in the archives:
The estimated per-act risk for acquisition of HIV from needle-sharing injection drug use with a partner confirmed to be HIV positive is 67 per 10,000 exposures.
Stay well. Remember I'm counting on you to vote wisely.
