protected sex=unprtected oral
Jun 18, 2006
Many sites have said that CONDOM protected sex carries the same risk as unprotected INSERTIVE oral and DEEP kissing. They all say extremely low to no risk at all. These sites include the hopkins site, medhelp.org, the sanfancity clinic site, and the Canadian Aids Society. Do you agree with this?
Response from Dr. Frascino
If you're looking for consensus, I absolutely agree condom-protected sex carries an extremely low to essential nonexistent risk. One thing that's absolutely certain: HIV cannot permeate intact latex. No way. No how! Consequently, if latex condoms were used properly each and every time and they did not fail (break), the HIV risk would decrease to completely nonexistent.
