How come when people ask HIV prevention questions in other forums, you don't answer their questions and tell them to re-ask again in the proper forum, however when HIV people ask HIV related questions in the prevention forum you answer their question. (i.e. the norvir question from April 28).
Do you give people who are HIV+ preferrential treatment?
Response from Dr. Frascino
Yes, I do.
There are many avenues for anxious, nervous nellies to address their irrational, unwarranted fears e.g. any shrink's couch, watching Dr. Phil, etc. but relatively few places HIV-positive folks can get accurate, timely responses to their legitimate, complex and very real medical concerns, resulting from the enormous challenges of trying to coexist with a virus that is doing everything it can to snuff out that person's very existence. OK?
