Thanks from Tory Dent's husband
Jan 22, 2006
Thanks for including some of Tory's poetry on your site. I must admit that I get the "how did she get infected" question fairly often from people that didn't know Tory. I'm not really sure what it means. Perhaps as an American woman she doesn't fit the neat definitions that people use to relegate HIV/AIDS to those "out there", i.e. not possibly me. I'm really grateful for your including her work on your site and appreciate this forum -- Tory used similar forums on many occasions as she had many many complications related to her very long illness -- she lived with the virus for 30 years! All in all, we got her a very long way and we feel indebted to forums like yours.
