STD from "pocket masturbator"
Jan 22, 2006

i recently used a pocket masturbator made of a rubberlike substance in a public bathroom. it wasn't mine, but i don't think there were any wet fluids inside of it. i'm concerned that i may have contracted an STD like gonorrhea or chlamydia from this; it's been a week, and my penis feels tingly and urination feels different. i hope i'm paranoid, but is there any way i could have an STD from this?

Response from Dr. Frascino

Hello,

A "pocket masturbator???" Hmmm . . . and it wasn't even yours??? Did you just happen to find it in the public restroom next to the paper towel dispenser? Steal it from a coworker while distracting him with some Krispy Kremes? Get it from a horny friend for X-mas and now you are worried that it might be a re-gift? Oh never mind . . . . Although I think the risk of contracting and STD from the activity you describe to be very low at best, if you are worried or have symptoms, go get checked out with an STD screen.

And form now on, why not just cut holes in your Versace trousers' pockets. You can then safely walk around with your hands in your pockets, feeling cocky all day.

Dr. Bob
