should u use flavored Condoms for sex?
Response from Dr. Frascino
Some condoms are just novelty items; for instance, the glow-in-the-dark condoms. These are great for keeping track of your boyfriend at a dimly lit sex club or a lights-out orgy (favored by so many closeted Republicans). These types of novelty items do not protect against STDs or pregnancy, and are so labeled on the packaging. Flavored latex condoms that can be purchased here in the U.S. are held to the same high standards as the non-flavored ones. Needless to say, they are primarily designed for oral sex. Using them for vaginal and anal sex might, in some folks, cause irritation. Almost any chemical added to latex can bother some folks. By the way, same information holds true for colored condoms. Bottom line: if you are trying something kinky, remember to check the packaging for any warning labels, OK?
Stay safe. Stay well.
