Question from down under
Oct 27, 2005

Hello Dr Bob,

Firstly I want to say how helpful your forum is - not only informative, but entertaining as well!!

I had unprotected oral sex with a guy of unknown status quite a while ago (I went down on him) and was tested at 107 days post exposure and it was negative - a woo-hooable result in your book! However, since then I still ocassionally wonder if maybe I should go and get tested again, just to make sure? Could you please set my mind at rest and let me know what you think?

Thank you in advance!!!

Aussie gal

Response from Dr. Frascino

Hello Aussie Gal,

So this is a question about going down Downunder???

Should you get tested again? Nah! As far as those pesky worries, I'd suggest you follow the wise advice of Tony Soprano: "Fuhgeddaboutit!" However, don't forget about safer sex, whether you're Downunder, up-over, in, out, top, bottom or whatever!

Over and "Out,"

Dr. Bob
