|American Scared in Vienna needs help ASAP!
Sep 26, 2005
I just arrived in Vienna from Munich's Oktoberfest. I was visiting the festival with my two male heterosexual friends. When we returned to the room a friendly wresting match. After I was taken down twice, I turned the table on my buddv. While I had him down he BIT my upper arm!! I don't think it broke the skin, but I'm not sure. My arm has a one inch by two inch bruise. Is there any way I could have contracted hepatitis or HIV? I'm only halfway through my trip and sick with fear including almost vomiting on Eurail. Please, please help. Thank you and I'll make a contribution.

Three straight guys enjoying some brewskis at Oktoberfest, who then decide to have a friendly wrestling match, take each other down and then bite each other? Hmmm . . . sounds like the plot to a bad gay porno movie. Can I play too?
Regarding HIV or hepatitis risk, relax, Dude! You're on vacation frevinsake! Certainly, if your biting buddy didn't break the skin, there would be absolutely no risk. Bruising is not a problem. Now turn off the unwarranted anxiety, O.K.? Barfing on Eurail is really often frowned upon by fellow passengers.
Stay well. Enjoy your vacation.
