| Can I Get Inked?? Jun 26, 2005 I have been HIV+ for a little over 2 years now. I feel great, I am in great shape, I am very healthy, and I live a healthy lifesyle--drug free, exercise, eat right, etc. As with any treatments, my doctor say I am in the 'wait and see' and not taking any meds. I am interested in getting a tattoo. I got a couple before I became positive years ago with no infections or issues, and I one to get another one. I don't want to comprimise my health in any way, but if it's okay to get some new art on my body, I will go with that too. What do you think? |

Response from Dr. Frascino
Hi, As long as you are inked at a reputable inkery by a qualified inker, I see no reason why you shouldn't become the next illustrated man! "That way your story could be told in living color so you won't ever have to say a word. We'll read your front and then turn you over (just like a lover, or so I've been told)." (Lyrics from The Tattoo Song") Stay well, Illustrated Guy, Dr. Bob | |||||||||
