Another crazy toilet question
Jun 16, 2005

I know it is highly unlikely that I can get hiv from this, but I just have to ask to be sure because I have never had this happen to me. I was on my menstrual cycle and I had a tampon in, when I went to the (public) restroom I sat down on the toilet and when I took out the tampon, it swung up and hit the rim of the toilet, then it swung back and hit me square in the opening of my bottom. Should I be worried that it hit the rim of the toilet first then came back and hit me in the bottom. I didn't notice anything on the toilet and of course it was my blood on the tampon. I know I am just being silly, but just had to ask to be sure. Thanks for your time.

Response from Dr. Frascino

Hello,

Yep, you're being silly to be sure!
