Can I do a double after a negative test at 15 weeks. This was for a low risk (insertive oral) encounter of short duration (less than 30 seconds). The tester said that I should wait until after 6 months and come back, if it is negative then -- then I should feel good. I am confused as you usually say WOO HOO after 12 weeks, but now this has taken me a bit over.....Do I need to wait another three months, or can I begin to enjoy myself with my partner? I strayed once, never again.

Hello WOO-HOO-er in Waiting,
Your risk of HIV transmission was extremely low. A negative test at 15 weeks would, in my opinion, be conclusive. Go ahead and scream WOO-HOO so loud that you'll get fan mail from the seismograph people here in California for the next month.
Stay safe. Stay well.
