| Freaking over frottage Jan 11, 2005 Dr. Bob, Happy New Year! I am a former worried well and hopefully a current one. I want to know if there is any risk of hiv from frottage(penis to buttocks). It was in a massage parlor and we both had our underwear on. 4 weeks post exposure, I got a rash under my arm. Now 5th week, I have diarehha and a weird feeling at the back of my throat. I know that you have answered questions similar to this but please help me. I have a wife and I don't want to cause any harm to her. Thank you, Stupid Husband |

Response from Dr. Frascino
Hello Stupid Husband, Frottage, especially with both of you wearing your "Fruit of the Looms," is not considered a risk for HIV transmission. I think symptoms are most likely related to guilt over this episode. I suggest confronting your guilt (and fears) by being honest with your wife. Dr. Bob | |||||||||
