Is infectiong from tampered condom possible? Woo Hoo needed!
Dec 2, 2003

Dear Dr. Bob,

I have asked a question about masturbating with a tampered condom 5 times, but I now know all I really wanted was an answer to this question. Is it possible to get AIDS/HIV through a tampered condom that was re-sealed after it was tampered with? I ask this because I might have masturbated with a tampered condom that was sealed. This happened almost 2 years ago.

I am aware, after searching in other forums, that that there is no documented event of someone getting infected from a tampered condom, but I want to know if it is even possilble. Please give me something WOO HOO worthy!

Thank you Dr. Bob, what you are doing is wonderful!

Sincerely,

Probable Hypochondriac

Response from Dr. Frascino

Hello,

Probable hypochondriac???? I'd say there is absolutely no need to qualify your hypochondriasis with that adjective --- absolute, might be better.

No my little paranoid friend, you needn't worry. Masturbating with condoms that are sealed definitely qualifies as beyond safe. How would someone tamper with a sealed condom anyway?

Dr. Bob
