Response from Dr. Frascino
Hello, This friend who "keeps telling you there is a cure for HIV," does he also want to see you beachfront property in Arizona? Im sure your friend means well, but he is woefully misinformed. Do him a favor and tell him in no uncertain terms that despite the hope (and hype) of new therapies, not a single person in this country, or anywhere in the world, has ever been cured of HIV/AIDS. The normal range for CD4 counts can vary from laboratory to laboratory, depending on what type of technology they use to run the test. The normal range will be listed on laboratory reports. Generally, its in the range of 700-1200 cells. Good luck, and remember dont buy that Arizona beach house no matter what your friend says! Dr. Bob | |||||||||
