| floaters Dec 20, 2002 can u explain Ryan if floaters are or are not a symptom of hiv infection or are something normal? I do not understand the info I find on here and other places, simple as that....AND I know others from things I find are confused as well. |

Don't try to determine your HIV status in reverse (determining your status based on common or benign symptoms you experience). Just having floaters is probably not a sign that you are HIV infected. You are at risk for infection if you have unprotected anal, vaginal, or oral sex with an HIV infected person, or if you share injection needles for drug use. If this is a possibility, get tested. If not, your symptoms are related to something else. RMK | |||||||||
