| not circumcised men and hiv risk Dec 9, 2002 Dear Dr, You have mentioned in many cases that not circumcised men are at higer risk of transmission for HIV, How do u judge this risk in case of unprotected oral sex / handjob if the partner is hiv infected. The risk doesn't change because: 1) HIV is not known to be transmitted through contact with saliva, even if saliva comes into contact with the genitals, mucous membranes, or bloodstream. 2) HIV is also not known to be transmitted through a handjob. RMK | |||||||||
